The single-acting hydraulic cylinder uses liquid pumped through its single port for rod retraction and an internal spring for rod extension to produce continued movement.

The high-strength alloy steel construction has a baked enamel finish on the exterior and chrome plating on the plunger for extended life and corrosion resistance. The plunger wiper helps inhibit contamination in the cylinder, and the blow-out protection helps prevent over-extension of the plunger. Cylinder capacity 10 tons (11.6 maximum).
